The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada is working to remind Canadians that people living with dementia are still valuable members of their communities and to try to ensure that they work to make the lives of these people a little better through their commitment to the #stillhere campaign in their everyday lives.

CBC Report on Alzheimer’s and Dementia Patients Staying Active
A common misconception regarding people who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia is that their diagnosis renders them unproductive members of society. The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada is working against this negative stigma throughout this year’s Alzheimer’s Awareness Month with multiple social media campaigns such as the hashtags #initforalz and #stillhere.
