Having a good understanding of your mental health is equally as important as understanding your physical health. Your mental health well-being is extremely important and some of behaviors and thoughts can be good indicators of your mental health well-being. The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) created a simple tool that can quickly assess your mental health status and give you a little insight into the aspects of your mental health that might be affecting you.
In this self-assessment tool, you indicate if you agree or disagree with statements provided in five sections. The sections are broken down into Ability to enjoy life, Resilience, Balance, Self-actualization, and Flexibility. Each section contains five statements. After you answer the questions, the tool gives you a number, which indicates and explains the aspects of mental health you might need to seek help and support for.
