Online Support Groups/Forums for Parents of Those With Disruptive Disorders

According to CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), “Approximately one-third to one-half of all children with ADHD may have coexisting oppositional defiant disorder (ODD). These children are often disobedient and have outbursts of temper.”
CHADD also says, “In some cases, children with ADHD may eventually develop conduct disorder (CD), a more serious pattern of antisocial behaviors. Conduct disorder may occur in 25 percent of children and 45 percent of adolescents with ADHD.”
Being a parent/guardian to children with disruptive disorders can be challenging, frustrating, and worrisome. Many parents may feel alone.
But they’re not.
Below are two online support groups/forums for parents who are struggling with this.
The Association of Parent Support Groups in Ontario
The Association of Parent Support Groups in Ontario (APSGO) offers support groups to parents/guardians of distruptive children. These groups run all across Ontario. The website says "Meetings are run by trained and skilled parents who have first-hand experience of the compelling evidence of the value of APSGO’s approach."
