Pfizer Decides To Stop Pursuing Alzheimer’s And Parkinson’s Drugs

Although January is Alzheimer’s Awareness month, however, Pfizer had a different announcement in mind. They announced on January 6th that they will stop pursuing the discovery of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s drugs. And, of course, the decision resulted in laying off 300 workers.
Multiple attempts were reported recently in the media about potentially successful new medication for Alzheimer’s in particular. However, none of the studies panned out.
