Aneesa has earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from McMaster University. She has worked with a diverse range of populations, including children and youth, families, new-comers, refugees, and homeless youth. Aneesa has more than 5 years of experience assessing and treating depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma, self-esteem, identity issues, family conflict, and anger management. She ensures the best practices of therapy, specialized in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). It is important for Aneesa to be objective, supportive, and to maximize the opportunity for change for the people she works with.
