Natalie is a recent graduate from McMaster University, having completed a Bachelor of Social Work, and Honours Social Psychology. During her time at McMaster, Natalie worked in a shelter for survivors of domestic violence and with youth on campus struggling with mental health, substance use, and transition. Natalie takes a Person-Centered approach to working with clients and uses the Stages of Change Model to understand and meet clients where they are at.
Having completed additional courses focused on race, gender based violence, and the experiences of women with precarious immigration status; human trafficking; and Indiginizing and Decolonizing social work, Natalie is well equipped to support individuals facing intersecting forms of oppression.
In her free time, Natalie enjoys connecting with nature and is an environmental activist focused on sustainability and working towards a zero-waste lifestyle.
