Sam is a Social Services Worker with a 15-year background in varying areas of social work. She obtained her SSW Diploma from Conestoga College in 2013 and has been working in the field since 2004.
She has worked with youth and adults with disabilities, those struggling with addictions, youth homelessness, the Indigenous community, bereavement, being a young caregiver, chronic illnesses and children’s mental health.
She has experience with addictions and chronic relapse, grief, loss and bereavement, concussions, divorce, marriage and family life, blended families, and being a young caregiver.
Sam brings an open and non-judgemental approach to each job and person she meets. She understands the different complexities life can bring, having many years of personal and professional experience, she is always ready to be a helping hand.
