Newcomers Employment - Newcomers

There are many services, offered by the federal government of Canada, provincial governments, as well as community agencies and private companies that are dedicated to helping Newcomers to Canada integrate as members of their community and find meaningful employment. Employment resource centres within your community can offer information and assistance to help with many aspects of employment. Resources range from information on how to apply for employment insurance benefits from the government of Canada, to job and skills training information, resume writing, interview preparation, and job listings. Job-specific language training is also available.  These resources are in place to enable newcomers to better integrate as members of their community, find employment in their chosen field, or source employment within higher skilled/paying jobs. We know that being new to Canada and unemployed can be overwhelming, and you may not know the best place to start in finding a job. Luckily, we have the resources that can help.
