Newcomer Women's Resources

There are many services, offered by the federal government of Canada, provincial governments, as well as community agencies and private companies that are dedicated to helping Newcomer women to Canada. These programs offer a variety of information and support to allow newcomer women, and their families, to integrate as members of their community and resettle into Canada effectively. Programs offer newcomers opportunities to learn about life in Canada, receive language training, make social connections, and find homes, healthcare, schools /child care and meaningful employment. Courses are also offered in health and wellness and cooking, and many offer free services such as child care during these courses. We know that if you, or a friend or loved one is new to Canada, you may need help and assistance with a variety of issues as you get yourself or your family settled. Luckily, we have the resources that can help.
