ESL/FSL/LINC

Paid for by the federal government of Canada, LINC refers to Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada, and offers English as a second language or French as a second language classes. Intended to help new permanent residents integrate into Canadian communities, the LINC program offers newcomers a better opportunity to quickly learn either French or English. Doing so enables newcomers to better integrate as members of their community, find employment in their chosen field, or source employment within higher skilled/paying jobs. Usually taking place at community centres and agencies, LINC classes offer adults over the age of 18 the opportunity to improve their English or French language abilities in reading, writing, and speaking. For information on how to find, apply for, or enroll in a Language Instruction program within your neighbourhood, take a look through the resources below. You are not alone. Connect with others who may be going through the same thing, find professional help and resources near you. The Kinjunxion community is here to help.
