Infidelity - Separation & Divorce

Relationships between couples take many different forms. Some are casual, some are partnerships, and some are marriages. Same-sex and opposite-sex couples typically enter a relationship with a defined understanding of exclusivity - whether or not they will engage in romantic, emotional, and/or sexual relations solely with each other, or be open to doing so with other people while in a relationship together. If a couple has chosen to be in an exclusive relationship, and one partner has a sexual or emotional encounter or relationship with someone else, it is referred to as infidelity, cheating, or being unfaithful to the other partner. This can lead to an unhappy or volatile relationship, and in some cases, separation or divorce. There are many resources available to help couples facing infidelity. Are you currently in a relationship that is experiencing difficulties due to infidelity? Would like the guidance of a professional to try and avoid the breakdown of the relationship? Or have you decided to initiate a separation or divorce because of infidelity, and you would like legal guidance and information. Self-help books, seminars, relationship counseling and legal counsel are all available in your community, and we have the resources you need to find them.

You are not alone. Connect with others who may be going through the same thing, find professional help and resources near you. The Kinjunxion community is here to help.
